Transfer and Articulation Agreements

Transfer and Articulation Agreements

Credits from Generations College are transferable to many four-year institutions. Generations is fully accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and the College has articulation and transfer agreements with a number of area institutions. Students wishing to complete a Bachelor’s degree should consider attending one of the many schools with which Generations College has an articulation agreement.

Generations College is a participant in the Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI). The IAI Illinois program is a statewide college articulation agreement that allows transfer of the completed General Education Core Curriculum between participating Illinois institutions. Completion of the General Education Core Curriculum at any participating college or university in Illinois assures transferring students that lower division general education requirements for an associate’s or bachelor’s degree have been satisfied. This agreement is in effect for students entering an associate or baccalaureate degree granting institution as a first-time freshman in summer 1998 and thereafter.
