WHAT DO BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION CLASSES PREPARE ME FOR?

Business majors complete a general business administration curriculum that prepares them for a career in a non-profit, for-profit, and many facets of the business environment.  Junior college students who take business classes in Chicago receive a foundation in business studies that includes accounting, management, marketing, global business and economics.  Many graduates of the Business Administration program at Generations College go on to continue their education at four-year institutions.

While the median annual salary in 2010 for administrative assistants was $34,660, the top 10 percent of executive administrative assistants earned more than $73,530 a year.
